BE A PROUD CANADIAN and tune-in to watch Canada’s three finalists for the “Under 25 LG Denim DIY contest” compete for the national title!
**Haven’t been following? Quick recap:
àLG traveled nation-wide where Canada’s up and coming designers under 25 yrs designed and debuted their denim designs before a panel of fashion renowned judges and a curious crowd of spectators. As the model’s strutted the designers jeans down the catwalk, the judges took note and critiqued the jeans based on creativity, uniqueness and fit but also asked the infamous question, “but would this sell in the real world?” The real world being those who don’t wish to be as fashionably daring as some stylistas we can find rocking hot pink, high waisted, acid wash cigarette jeans.
Moving along, with careful deliberation the judges selected provincial finalists Lori Peltonen of Toronto, Dora Lee of Vancouver and Marie-Sophie Belisle of Montreal.
The National Finals will be broadcast on Morning live next Wednesday, April 15th at 8:20AM, on GLOBAL (channel 3 in Toronto, 11 in Hamilton).
